Is the team any good? I know Florida has a team, but they suck terribly.

I think the condition of LSU is very promising. I like what Coach Johnson has done with the basketball program, and really feel like Les Miles is leading the football team on a path to success.

I'ld be more supportive of a waterboarding team, hockey should be illegal south of indiana. Seriously, hockey in Louisiana? Florida?:rolleye33:

Wow. Did not know that. I might have to go to one of the games.

To be more specific, I would support any student-athlete who wears purple-n-gold but I prefer that LSU doesn't waste money/time on hockey.

That's of course your preference. I see nothing wrong with offering as many sports as they can find enough students interested enough to field a team.

ok, I am feeling that retort.

Baseball team was start starting to come into it's own (although that damn pesky MSU always in the way back then).

Basketball team, final 4 team. It was followed by an Elite 8 team in 1987 as well.

Football was in great shape under Arnsparger.
