You're right. He's 5/8. But Mitchell is 1/7 and Tack 2/12. You can't win games with guard play like that. Anytime Tack has more shots than anyone else on the team, LSU will likely be on the losing end. A 20 point loss to a team that was on a 4 game losing streak is pretty bad.
Absolutely. Our guard play, not Brady, is the reason for this team's lack of real success. Tack on the bench would improve this team immensely.
He is the worst PG ever at LSU. Both Baby and Bass were > 50% from the field and took less shots than TM. A point guard should not shoot the ball enough to miss 10 shots. Horrible and the worst thing is he is no better than he was last year. Another fine example of our coach "developing" a player.
This game he was but he played a great game in Georgia. He was 4/6 from the field had 8 rebounds and 7 assists. He needs to concentrate more on distributing the ball and less on scoring. He needs to become more consistent. Inexperience isn't an excuse any more.
Guys...The warning light on the gas tank might have just blinked on...Looks like this team is running on fumes...
5-3 half way through the sec is usually pretty good but the conference this year is weak. I think this team on their best night is very average, no guards and no bench. As far as the ncaa tournament goes , even if they get in it will be most likely one and out. Unfortunately that would probably get Brady one more year.
I still do not like the way Brady handles himself and this program, but tonight's loss was adue to facing a very desperate, fired-up Vols team. Tennessee had not played at home in awhile, so they had the added emotion and comforts of home cooking. And, the officiating was pretty slanted towards the Vols. Just my humble opinion.
yall played sloppy tonight. i really thought yall would come in and handle us. well at elast yall still have a chance at the tourney.
