Not so much enamored with myself, but dumbfounded by your ignorance...I wasn't predisposed to hate this guy...I started out with a backstage pass to this guy's program...I knew what was said and what was going on during the best season of this guy's tenure...I had a front row seat for every game...We were talking to the players... Five years later, I've learned NOTHING but that the players still hate his @ss, and that he's made so many ridiculous decisions off the court-in his personal life, recruiting, in dealing with Bertman and the AD-that even his miserable performances on it pale by comparison. The thing is, it's not "as I see them" SabanFan...Name me one thing I've ever blamed this guy for that was "a hunch" on my part. Just one...You gonna tell me he didn't personally blame Thomas Davis? You gonna tell me he didn't know about Taurean Minor in high school? You gonna tell me he didn't use JueMichael as a reason they were struggling, and then covered it up when he didn't see a MINUTE on the court the next year? You gonna tell me he wasn't to blame for making sure Shawnson Johnson got eligible? You gonna tell me he didn't drop the ball on that the recruitment of the kid whose family member came on here and offered to explain JUST what other coaches, other players, and even players ON THE TEAM said about Brady? Those are all facts, jack...and I've told you about FACTS much worse than that via Private Message...I've never been one to make things up...It's just you don't care...and it amazes me that you wouldn't...Because I know if your daughter was on campus, you would have ended his life...If it was your kid that got his jaw broke, you would have held the pursestrings and rescinded the donation as well.... You cannot argue that...You refuse to...Just like martin...Tell me what I'm seeing, or what I've stated, that is not FACT...PLEASE! I want you to smack me on the forehead with it...Seriously!
not as bad as it first looks. looking at the box score, minor played better than most in many ways. he didnt score but did many things better than other players. 6 rebounds, 6 rebounds! he has been rebounding well for a guard. guess how many bass had---6. i dont know why, but my guess is bass doesnt hustle enough on defensive end. minor--3 assists (too few, all in first half i think) but only 1 turnover. several others had 3. so if we lost because of turnovers (which i dont believe) its not minor's fault) minor probably had a lot to do with their perimeter shooting, which was a major reason we lost, but he didnt have much to do with their offensive rebounds and easy put backs---another major reason we lost, more attributable again to poor rebounding by bass. we lost because of poor perimeter defense, poor transition D, poor defensive rebounding. better shooting wasnt necessary, but could have won it for us. so if you want to talk about how crappy someone played, bring up mitchell and bass before you bring up minor.
bs. youve just been waiting for a game where we play flat. happens to every team. just better not happen much more. it was a road game and our team lacks confidence. ut is quicker than us and has good guards. this game had trouble written all over it. and i'd think if anyone will show tired legs itll be davis first. hes overweight and a freshman- he did ok.
