I still do like our chances to get to a final 4, especially if we're placed in the New Orleans regional. You might just wanna pencil us in.

Who will we have to upset to get there?

North Carolina, UConn, Stanford, Maryland, Tennessee?

Likely Tennessee is moved out of this regional due to LSU being a #2.

Hope for Stanford. They are the weakest of those teams easily.

LSU can beat Maryland, despite getting crushed by them earlier in the year. They've proven they can beat UT.

UNC and UConn are the 2 you want to avoid.

They say hope springs eternal but my spring has run dry... With only two options on offense this LSU Girls BB team is as a real disadvantage against the nations best teams. Our depth seems to be lacking in the big games & foul shooting always seems to fail us when it matters most.. We can still win it all but only if these nine seniors start playing up to their potiential. They have played under three different coaches (outstanding coaches) and still can't get over the hump.. I feel its up to the players & I'm not sure things are gonna change now.. comments?? As far as no one beating Tenn on their home turf twice in one year - LSU could have, should have if they could learn to shoot foul shots... We should have been up three points with 20 seconds to go not just the opposite..

LSU does have offensive problems but I think can beat any of those top teams except UConn. We played a very good game against them on our home court and lost. We played lousy last night and almost won. But we do need another reliable scorer or two. Erika White goes so out of control that she misses layups. Big Syl was off last night. If Ashley Thompson could bury a 10 footer it would really help. Tenn did do a good job of pushing our offense out though. Which is why we were able to lob into Big Syl several times. What would really help our offense is if we could get the girls to crash the boards for offensive rebounds. It's usually one shot and over for us. Tenn did a good job of that.

So, I just hope they don't put us in the same bracket as UConn.
