the only problem with Tack is that he cant shoot. if he'd hit 50% noone would have a problem with his attitude. you'd think he wouldnt be such a bad shooter if he scored 70-whatever in hs---this isnt only because of poor shot selection. if he could shoot, put him at sg with GT at point. i think this is still what should happen, because this team doesnt really have good options at 1 or 2. the team has two power forwards and a wet noodle in the frontcourt, and four swingmen and two short players in the backcourt. i say "FREE TACK". it is THE chance for this team to do anything special
So Brady benched him for a game and a half cause he can't shoot, huh? You really think it's that simple? You guys need to wake up (like Minor does) and realize this guy is a bad apple. He was a problem in high school and is still a problem 4 years later. His shooting, or lack thereof, is the least of his problems right now. He is a serious headcase...
no. i have no idea why brady benched him, but id hope its not just because he doesnt shoot well. i dont know anything about him being a bad apple. i like some attitude, anyway. if thats all it is--yelling back at brady or a player or something like that. i prefer that over players that appear not to care (hudson)
you guys arent' at practice... if you were, you'd see that Tack is one of the vocal leaders on this team... a lot of the guys really look up to him, and i really don't think it's "all about him"... he just went to a high school where he had to score 60-70 a game to win, and he never adjusted to college ball.
No I'm not, but I know people who attend practice... If you know what is going on, then tell us why he hasn't played in 1 1/2 games...
i really don't know why... but i'll say this: it will be a quick and painless run in March Madness with Voogd and co. running the point in the backup role. Tack needs to be a Bobby Jackson for us. By that I mean the spark plug off the bench. If he comes in and plays well, leave him in; if not, just take him out. Like WIll Bynum for GT back when they made the Final Four.
