Same. Brennan looked loose and much more decisive and in control.

It is like a participation trophy. It’s their job to get turnovers. Be more meaningful to put something on someone who fu . . erhh . . messes up.

Now you put those around someone’s neck that gets a turnovers and we are talking!

Man, MSU loss really indicates how hard headed coaches were in week 1 AND how much we missed Stingley.

Looks like this team needs some growing pains. Glad we have Missouri next to clean things up more. Then FU should be a real test. After week 2 it feels like we have a shot; that’s an improvement vs week 1.

Yea. LSU basically had the same defensive performance vs Vandy that A&M did if you look at the stats. A&M just got butt raped by Bama. Mizzu is a slightly harder test and then we will see if our D can be worth a shit vs UF. Good thing seems to be, UF looks below average on D as well.

From what I’ve seen so far - if our oline can win the battle we have a punchers chance with anyone on any given Saturday. We do have talented defenders. Ricks getting better will help and I see that ability in him for sure. He has done decent at least on covering the go route up the left sideline. Important to take away a big play route like that. It’s something to look out for.

Ricks definitely improved but needs to play a little tighter on that underneath crossing route.
