The LSU Athletes are held to a higher standard.

People invest lots of their time and money to go see the athletes play baseball. As such, the athletes should take the game very seriously. The athletes should avoid activities/habits and lifestyles that present even an appearance of impropriety.

The athletes are not like other college students, because the fans don't pay money to go see Joe Schmo play touch football on the Quad on Saturday, they invest the time and money to go see Matt Mauck on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.

You may disagree with me, but in my humble opinion, the athletes should not be partying on nights before games, I don't care what Joe Schmo does.

I'd lay ten to one that these guys aren't out half as much as people have them out supposedly, the ones at the casino also. And anyone who thinks these guys don't work awfully hard at what they do is very ignorant to what the LSU basebal program is all about. Hell, even high school kids play and practice the game 350 days a year nowadays. If the starters weren't practicing and working at least as hard as the backups they would be on the bench.

    Good point.

Of course the baseball players are working hard and practicing a lot.

I still think that they should not go our partying on nights before games. There should be plenty of time to party at other times, particulary during football season!
