Gausman gives up a single to the first two batters, K's Bama's best hitter, gives up another single to let Bama score a run. Next ball hit hard to Hanover who can't make a play, bases are loaded w/ 1 out. Next batter fouls off about 8 pitches before he hits to 1st where LSU tries to make the play at second but all runners are safe. 2 LSU errors :/ 2-0 Bama, bases loaded w/ 1 out. Ross goes down swinging Jones beats out a high choppper to the SS Watkins taps it to the pitcher, FC to 2nd, Watkins beats out the DP Katz gets a single between SS and 3rd Mahtook to the plate, hits it to 2nd to end the top of the 3rd. No damage from Bama, still 0-2 after 3 innings.

Nice block by Ross to stop a passed ball, but the runner does advance to 2nd High chopper, Jones able to make the 4-3 put out, but Bama scores Gauman knocks down the sharp hit and throws to 1st for the 3rd out.
