8th inning, LSU 0 - Bama 3 Jones easily beats out a ball hit to the SS Watkins down 0-2 quickly, ends up hitting in 6-4-3 a DP :/ Katz beats out a chopper Mahtook takes it deep to RF, but 3rd out is made :/ Dykstra in to relieve Gausman 3 runs, 2 earned. 6 hits, 10 Ks, 1 walk. Hell of a job Deep lead off double for Bama, pinch runner comes in Walks the next batter, man on 1st and 2nd Batter showing bunt x 4, finally lays it down w/ the only play at 1st Man on 2nd and 3rd. Sharp hit to Hanover, ball off his chest but he throws home. Runner makes it in safe for run #4 for Bama Ross grabs the next bunt and runs down the runner from the 3rd for out #2 3rd out hit to Hanover
9th inning, LSU 0 - Bama 4 Now or never! Morgan stays in having thrown 105 pitches so far Rhymes walks on 4 straight Hanover with a single between SS and 3rd Tigers w/ men on 1st and 2nd, no outs. Bama changing pitchers... Nola goes down swinging for out #1 Edward hits to the SS for easy DP. Game over, Bama wins 4-0 Sunday will be a difference maker if we are going to make it to Hoover. LSU went back to their normal offensive routine today. Bama has thrown 13 consecutive scoreless innings.
