I would think that would be the objective of both squads, force the other team to win it thru the air by shutting down or limiting the run. If that ends up being the case, I think we have a better shot than they do. I like our passing game more and our secondary will eat their receivers up.:geaux: :LSU231:
What about experience? Can we keep our cool in a big game like this on road? Do we have good leadership in our Senior crop? How about 'Bama? Are they experienced?
Even though not the same caliber team I think we proved that in the UGA game. At the time it was every bit as big a game and atmosphere.
I agree, it was a huge game and we prevailed. We need a solid game from JJ and if he is not effective early, go with Shep and Oregon style attack.
I've looked at about 6 different websites today (ajc, espn, etc) and no one, and I mean NO ONE, is picking LSU to win Saturday . :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
So, in other words, the only reason that your defense gave up a touchdown is because they were tired from being on the field all game because they couldn't stop Tennessee's offense? Got it. Wrong. Saban was your coach in 2007.
I don't think Shep is ready yet as the QB; if JJ has a bad game, I'll go with Lee and Shep. One thing I pray is that JJ doesn't stare down his receiver; the secondary will certainly be reading his eyes.......He needs to speed up in throwing the ball.
