Only 1 SEC tream has ever made the NCAA tourney with a sub .500 record since the league expanded. It was Bama (2003?) b/c they had a strong RPI and SOS.

LSU's RPI is 79 and SOS is 34. Those numbers will get better if we finish 5-3, but I'm not sure it'll be good enough. Guess it depends on how other SEC teams finish. I doubt they would take more than 1 team with a 7-9 record. Ark has a better shot at getting in with a 7-9 record as they are ranked much higher in the RPI and SOS.

 

Hey Penn State does your University field any other sports besides football. By the way do you guys still play football.

 

I feel the same way about Penn State and Joe Palermo.
