I don't disagree one bit. But I don't think for one second that we would have effectively been able to do that against their normal D-line. But again, I'm not too put off by the offense. They have scored enough to win games this year aside from Auburn. But the defense is just terrible for the most part and gives up too many points.
Our problem is of all places the secondary. We are also thin and young on the DL. Doesn't help that Stingley got hurt in 2 games and Ricks ejected against Ark. On the bright side we have young studs on the DL, young promising OL that will heal and give us depth only 2 seniors this year, young good RB's, a fabulous freshman TE and a good looking backup in Kole Taylor and we have 2 good looking young QB's along with a seasoned Miles Brennan. Our 2021 class looks great and the 2022 class shaping up nicely. Things are not rosy right now but no need to panic.
