It’s going to be ugly. The offense will not move the ball against Bama‘s defense without Brennan. That leaves our historically bad defense to stop the #1 offense in the country. I said it last week too, but with the spread being about 28, it’s legit free money.
That's exactly what I am hoping for. This season has been a bust from the beginning for a lot of reasons. We better get our QB's trained up, recruit hard and our OL healthy for next year. Defense I think will be fine.
Give us motivation for next year if Saban runs up the score. They don’t need eye candy. I think Saban knows this. He’d be stupid and careless to the overall cause if he let a historical beating happen. I say easy money to bet LSU with all those points.
It’s a big number. But we had a more experienced team in 2018 that went on to win a New Years Six bowl that got beat by 30. I was pleased with the effort from our defense last week and to see improvement. But ultimately Alabama will be too much to handle. On the other side of the ball, I don’t see how we score (while it’s competitive at least). Our offensive line is in bad shape, run game is virtually non-existent and Bama will disguise and bait our Freshman QB into trouble situations. I’m not an Aggie, no moral victories for me. The largest win being 29 was before Coach O’s little locker room speech last year got leaked to the public. An internal wager could be interesting. Although I don’t really want to bet against the Tigers. I’m just accepting this year for what it is, a youthful rebuild. Bama is out for blood. Too bad the team they really want to beat is currently fighting for position in the NFL Rookie of the year race (or preparing for the combine). This year has reminded me a lot of 2008 and we took them to 3OT that year so you could be right.
