We are going to be extremely happy or pissed. No middle ground with us!

 

This is the least optimistic I have ever been since I have been at TF. We have no proven QB (THIS IS HUGE), a suspect secondary, only 3 RB's and a new coach and staff. Our front 7 will be really good. Our WR's will be great. However that is not enough. Man I hope I am surprised tonight but gut tells me this will be a long season.

 

Per Brodie Miller at the athletic, Jayden Daniel’s is the starter….

Daniels will be LSU’s starting quarterback Sunday night against Florida State in New Orleans, sources told The Athletic. Daniels transferred to LSU from Arizona State in March and beat out redshirt freshman Garrett Nussmeier in a competition coach Brian Kelly repeatedly called very close. On3.com first reported the news.

 

Hope we don't devolve into a "Two-QB" season.

Me either. Wasn't happy with the Brian Kelly hire but I hate all things Notre Dame and maybe that affected my feelings toward Kelly. I know nothing about the team going in but I am happy to have an actual grownup in charge for a change. Also won't need a translator for the postgame comments for the first time in many, many years!
