Give LSU credit for not quitting. I don't know what else to say after that. They drove 99 yards in 1:20, scored a TD at 0:00 and then the PAT was blocked. UGH.
Holy shit I was soooo happy to see the Detroit Lions rule work out for you. then the missed kick I had money on you guys....... (for those unaware the Detroit Lions rule) The lions lost a game vs the Falcons after scoring a 3 yard TD to go ahead with 7 seconds left. They reviewed the play and his knee was down at the 1/2 yard line and due to the 10 second runoff the Lions lost even though they were literally at the 2 yard line already ready to spike it with 5 seconds left because it was a goal line play. That is why the Pro's now have a rule for it and college apparently does too. that if a review happens that restarts the clock and the team would realistically have had time to spike it they get 1 free play.. Damn I really thought you guys had it
From this point on, this game shall be the official standard for the term "snatch defeat away of the jaws of victory"...
Okay armchair quarterbacks, should we have gone for 2 instead of the PAT? The FSU was on their heels at that point. Thoughts?
