No offense to you guys.....but any of you that think your guys will put up 30 or 40 against our defense are just not in touch with reality. Hell....20 is a stretch. I would expect this to be a low scoring game....first one to 17 probably wins.
Does Saban try to make UGA look good, so they wont drop much in the BCS polls....or will he try to impress the right people with a lot of points......my guess is LSU 38 UGA 14
Lets set the table, UGA gets opening kickoff and Green makes long drops from the shotgun(as per UF)& makes 5 to 10 yd gains all the way down the feild, UGA 3,LSU 0. LSU recieves the KO and makes a couple of 1st downs and punts due to pressure from the fired up UGA D. UGA recieves and goes 3 and out due to adjustments made by LSU , battle goes & back and forth for 1 1/2 qtrs till LSU's offensive pressure finally takes its toll and we score a TD, UGA 3, LSU 7. UGA gets to the twenty at the 1/2 but has to settle for a feild goal, UGA 6,LSU7. 3rd qtr, LSU mounts another drive and scores a TD, UGA 6,LSU14. UGA gets the KO and goes 3 and out LSU partially blocks the punt and scores on a bomb to Henderson, UGA,6, LSU 21. 4th qtr, UGA recovers a fumble on the 30 yd line and Green passes for a TD UGA13, LSU 21. After trading punts UGA marchs down the feild and stalls at the 25 & had to settle for a feild goal, UGA16, LSU21.On the next UGA punt Green returns one to the 29 yd line and LSU has to settle for a feild goal, UGA 16, LSU 24. UGA gets the ball with less than 2 minutes left and marches down the feild, on the 35 Green throws one that is intercepted and returned for a TD, UGA 16 LSU 31. UGA receives the KO and marchs down the feild and scores aTD with 31 secs. left, UGA 23 LSU 31. UGA tries the offside kick but LSU covers and runs out the clock. Final score; LSU 31 UGA 23
I agree with the dog fan. No team will score over 24 points in this game. Our defenses are maybe the 2 best in the country not named Oklahoma. UGA - 23 LSU - 21
Since Saban is telling his players all week that Georgia fans, players and their head coach think LSU was very lucky to win last time, LSU will be fired up to pound this time around. Don't tick Nick off, that is not a smart thing to do. These big games are often blowouts, LSU by 23. Sorry Dawgs, but this year marks the beginning of dominance in the SEC by LSU. We will be even better next year! Lou HOltz said LSU is the team to worry about if your OU! Not UGA. TRev Alberts lives in ATlanta and has been on the UGA wagon all year, his pride won't let him change now. That too is a bad sign for UGA.
While I'd love to see the Tigers blow out the dawgs, I just don't see any reason to believe the outcome will be different than the first game. This time, though, the kickers make their kicks, and it will be... :lsug: 20 dawgs 19
