If you're a defensive guy being recruited by LSU you have to want to be part of what you saw today. This should help us hold what we got; and may help us flip a few.

Maybe we will get one or two big recruits after this showing.

Looks like we were thinking along the same lines.

Maybe we were using similar processes to get to similar thoughts; I was using strongly brewed CDM laced with Kahlua, Baileys, and a touch of Irish whiskey.;) How about you? :)

I haven't ready the entire thread, so apologies if these points have already been made. Obviously, the defense was brilliant. No one has held Louisville without a TD in a game all year and this was the team that put 63 on the Semenholes. And I hope everyone complaining about the O-line play realizes that Louisville was doing just like every other team did and was selling out to stop the run. That's why we had pretty easy throws when passing and also why Guice housed it on the 70 yard run when he got past the LOS. It was frustrating to watch at times, but not nearly as frustrating as it would have been under the previous regime.

I loved the comment McElroy made when talking about Canada. He said something to the effect of 'no more trying to fit a square peg in a round holes'; which was an obvious reference to Miles' stubbornness. He also made the point that Canada would create his offense around the skillset of his players and not try to force them to play his scheme. It's just refreshing to finally hear a professional broadcaster echo the same things some of us have been saying for years.

I was drinking a zing zang bloody Mary laced with titos while enjoying the pickled okra.

It'd be nice to flip Dylan Moses and bring him to Baton Rouge, he would fill a much needed hole at the LB position.

Yeah I know. Got a late start this morning and lost track of time. Was so embarrassed when I realized it that I didn't even bitch.
