    Gausman gives up I believe his 4th hit, with 2 outs in the 7th LSU bringing in a new pitcher.

    LSU still up 17-1

    That's right....I think he got two of the three outs in the sixth.

    1st inning

    Watkins starts of 3-0, then takes 3 straight strikes
    Rhymes strikes out
    Katz out on a called strike 3
    3 up, 3 down for the Tigers

    Grounder hit to Katz who takes a couple of steps to 1st, 1 out
    Grounder to Nola, good stop but make a good throw, runner on 1st
    McCune down 3-0 to first two batters
    Struck out the next batter on 3 pitches
    Full count, ball 4, runners on 1st and 2nd w/ 2 outs
    Pup up behind the catcher, Dozar able track it down for the 3rd out

    After 1, LSU 0 - MSU 0

    2nd Inning

    Mahtook hits a single up the middle
    Nola out on strikes
    Hanover flies out
    Edward with a clean single to RF, gets bobbled and Mahtook scores!
    Edward able to make it to 3rd
    Dozar hits to RF, MSU able to make the catch

    LSU 1 - MSU 0 after 1 1/2

    Popup, Nola has to cover some ground but makes the catch in LF
    Strike 3, 2 outs
    Hit to left CF, double
    Ball 4, McCune's pitch count is climbing in a hurry
    Mahtook makes a diving catch in shallow center

    LSU 1 - MSU 0 after 2


    Arkansas and Ole Miss postponed, will play DH tomorrow

    3rd inning

    Jones walks
    Watkins bunts, throw hits him. Tigers w/ runners on 1st and 2nd
    Rhymes flies out to RCF, runners on the corners
    Katz goes down swinging
    Mahtook up, meeting on the mound
    Mahtook with a nice single, Jones scores!
    Tigers w/ men on 1st and 2nd
    double steal, both runners are safe
    Nola down 0-1, fouls off 3
    Nola not ready, pitcher throws anyway and gets warned which gets MSU's ire going
    Nola fouls a 4th, then hits deep shot to LCF to drive in 2 more!
    Nola on 2nd, that was a nice at bat
    Hanover with a single that gets knocked down, Tigers w/ runners on the corners
    Pitch gets away from the catcher, Hanover takes 2nd
    Edward walks, pitch gets way again, Nola scores!

    Ump calls time and the MSU pitcher flings it anyway and hits him in the belly. Man that Ump was pissed. He basically walked in a charging fashion waving his finger at him until Coach Cohen comes and starts arguing with the Ump a few feet from the mound.

    That was fun to watch.
