Perhaps it is now time for a coach that can get us past that hump. :thumb:

Actually, in eight trips, we are officially 0-10. Both of Dale Brown's teams also lost the consolation game that used to be played between the the two semifinal losers to determine 3rd and 4th place.:(

    Ok, I can't resist.

Perhaps it is now time for a school administration that can pay the coach to get us past that hump.

Seriously, though, where we are as a school is probably something in the top 10% or higher of colleges who have even gone to the Final Four, much less men's and women's final fours.

But, for kicks, I'd run some numbers to see what, on average, the schools that have not only been there, but have WON the championship, pay their college head coaches. You could literally see what it takes to get there--I'd make the argument that for what LSU pays its college basketball coaches (and let's be real, it ain't top of the market) making 8 final fours is already a huge accomplishment. It's more than just blaming the coaches, folks.

As I've said before, it's the school's turn now to make a difference. Let's see who they land this week... a team returning all Juniors and no doubt a national contender in talent.

:geauxtige :bball: :champs: LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. KEEP THE FAITH.

The team we beat, UCONN, pays their women's bktball coach ONE MILLION dollars per year.

He has also won 4 national championships and has played in others. You can't compare a want to be coach with someone that has dominated the field.
