I think in a netrual setting and South Carolina having played I'd say LSU edges them in a sluggish defenseive game.
LSU is more athletic than USC. But, it will come down to our ablity to hit outside shots. And, if, once again, Mitchell is the only guy hitting any long range jumpers, we will likely lose.
Look for LSU one and out. I hope not, but all indications is that's what will happen. If it's one and out, and especially if its a poor showing, nobody needs to be surprised when LSU is NOT given an invite late Sunday afternoon.
Well then, we'll need to turn out in force for our first round NIT game at the PMAC. I know it sucks, but whether you like Brady or not, let's not turn our backs on these kids. They came to LSU to represent, and they still have at least one more game to play after today, win or lose. And while it IS little more than a consolation prize, a good showing in the NIT could be a solid building block for next year for this young team.
