Such a big win and confidence boost for the Lady Tigers. First win against a highly ranked team other than Ohio State early in the year. This all but secures a #2 seed in the tourney, which is good. I think LSU can handle any #3 seed in the NCAA tournament, so they should be able to make it to the final 8.

With the way Erica White has played these past 2 games (17 pts in each), she is the key to the Tigers success come tourney time. If she can continue to push tempo and get us some key baskets, along with LSU being one of the top 3 defenses in the nation, this team can make it as far as the finals this season.

i said this the last time we played, but it is so f'in stupid that Tennesee is allowed to mix and match between regular season and tournament championships for their streaks of SEC titles.

Just when I was thinking the streak was over, I rememebered that they make the rules, and that it was extended.

The men's team beat Florida, the "best" team, so therefore we now have a 2 year streak of being SEC Champions, right?

Fowles had 19 points 20 rebound while holding Candace Parker to a career low 4 points. Good for the ladies, i'm sick of seeing Tennessee win in the postseason against us...

I agree and was glad to put that lil blemish on their record.

Here's the SEC Tournament history that shows just how true what you said is. Tenn. has been incredibly dominant.
