The worst of them are just "cams" meaning someone setup a camera in a theatre (usually empty but not always) and recorded it that way. You then have telesync in which the video is recorded that way but the audio is encoded directly from the film audio. Better sound. Telecine is the best. It's a digital video/audio transfer from directly from the film. DVD screeners are usually good (the limited DVDs that studios send out) but often have large counters on them and sometimes are incomplete.
I have a Pioneer DVD Recorder with a built-in TiVo. I have the original telecast of the game on four DVDs!!
I'll mark you off the list of people that I would have considered sending a copy to simply for the cost of four DVD-R's and shipping. I wasn't bragging, I was letting everyone know they had another option.
