I stayed at this hotel right across the street from Gund Arena in Cleveland. It has a mall attached to it and u can walk in a "gateway" to Gund Arena to see a Cavs game (handy when its January and its snowing outside). Seen Lebron from court side seats and it was awesome. The name of the hotel is The Renasance or however u spell it. Great Hotel for like $200 a nite.

    Go Lady Tigers!!!

Kudos to the Lady Tigers; they seemed more determined to be focussed despite the unfortunate Pokey incident. The adversity somehow seems to band the team together. Anybody think they want to win this one the whole way for Pokey?

    Renaissance, I believe.

I don't think I'll be making that trip- saving up for a few things.

Prior to tonight, UConn's worst loss was by eight points...to Rutgers. (our next opponent)

UConn doesn't lose many games and rarely loses one bad. Their last really bad loss...last year by 23 points...to UNC. (our possible opponent in the title game)

    Tremendous win.

Not only the win, but a convincing win. Total team effort. Role players stepping up, and looking like a balanced team. Let's remember that Pokey recruited these folks, raised 'em, gave them their spirit and heart. Starkey designed a great game plan, and let these kids play it out. And a dominant player in Fowles played dominant. Couldn't have scripted it any better in a game against tradition-filled UCONN.

Just an amazing win. Now, let's all hope for the no letdown, and the continued hunger to carry this team. Let's win the NC in basketball!!!!

:geauxtige :bball: :champs: LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. KEEP THE FAITH.

Speaking of UNC. Anybody check out Latta lately. She's gaining some weight. Looks a little more portly than years past.

Of course it could be my new widescreen tv. :D

Great win. I am more excited about this trip than any of the others. Seems as if our Tigers have improved a lot towards the end of the season and hopefully they can bring back a title this time. :thumb:

Big Syl looked as monstrous as Shaq down low.

I haven't seen so many shots altered since last year with Tyrus.

If LSU wins the Final Four I hope Pokey gets the credit she deserves. The Lady Tigers would not be going if it were not for her.

Agreed. She did some GREAT recruiting lately with White and Hightower. Sylvia can't win a championship by herself, it takes a TEAM to do it. This looks like a very good team. I enjoyed the game immensely.
