The line has to hold em up to make that work. This is where I begin to lose faith in the long toss. I agree with you, I'm just not sure the line can support the logic. Blown coverages will provide an opportunity, so we'll see

 

To me, this game hinges on the beginning. If we get a big play early and get some confidence up, we’ll be alright. One thing that really discourages me about Oeaux so far is that if something negative happens early, it affects us more than it should, such as the Brossette fumble, or the penalty after the early TD against MSU. Team is a reflection of their coach?

 

Yes but with Lawrence, Key and Alexander playing hurt and Herron out we will wear out. Same for the OL. Even if O and the staff is doing a good job we are limited this year. Add that Guice and Williams are playing hurt we are in bad shape.

Simply betting our recievers are taller, stronger and just as fast as their dbs. As far as the line giving Etling the time is why we counter the rush with draw plays and screens. If we have to keep our line fresh play a few walk ons. The deep ball has to work or we are in deep doo doo.

 

Where do we find a FG kicker?

 

If we can force a early turnover that would be huge. Perhaps a Greedy Pick Six!
