it seems likely we will go becase of rpi, and the fact that we have 17 wins with 3 games left, and we are second in the western division of the SEC. i would like to see a year where the second team in either division hasnt made the tournament.
We should win 1/3 remaining games. I guess at that point it depends on a win in the SEC tourney. If we get a 1st round bye, that becomes tougher.
Hell, who knows? LSU went into the Tourney playing good ball last year, only to lay an egg versus Purdue. Perhaps these guys will get tired of hearing how lame they are and come out smoking in the Tourney, kind of like Auburn did last season.
Playing USC in anything right now would have a certain allure to it, but keep in mind they would both be playing in the reject tourney, so I dont think it would be as big a deal as we might think.
Because it just seemed/seems like we're circling the drain-- can't believe that the selection committee would want us there despite rpi.
Too bad USC didn't win a couple of more games this year to help us out. I guess the red-hot LSU-SLU rivalry will have to heat back up. Yeah-- Pac the PMAC.
