Attended my first game of the season last night ... that's why they played so well!

By far their best performance of the year. Shot 59% from the field and 47% from 3 pointland and limited the turnovers. And when is the last time we've seen an LSU team that can shoot free throws? Shooting 73% for the year.

The killer for this team is lack of depth. 4 of 5 starters played over 35 min and Minor played 30 min. IMO, it will wear out this team later in the year. And I think that's why we've seen so many second half collapses thus far.

Anyway, it was a much needed win...

When thinking of past events, I thought the same thing TE. I'd really like to see how Butch does the rest of the year.

On a side note, now that the SEC has rolled around, the crowd #'s are up. Last year was by far the biggest - and the student section was almost completely full. There was even once instance of Geaux! Tigers! from opposing sides of the court. I'd love to see the "Deaf Dome" come alive again - we definately have the talent to do it (with recruits coming in next year).

That was an excuse when Brady didn't have all of his scholarships. They are all back. I don't want to hear about depth on this team. The only lack of depth that I see is in Brady's ability.

Well, if you don't want to hear about reality, then don't read my posts.

This team has no depth. Lazarre, Whipple and Neltner is all we have on the bench, and they aren't exactly SEC quality depth.

Now, if you want to blame Brady for this reality, then go right ahead ... because I agree that it's his fault.

I was thinking about something last night...any chance Skip promised JB at least 1 year w/Tasmin? Some kind of package deal seeing how Tasmin is Butch's godson...

Good win over probably the best team they have faced so far.

I don't know about that. Alabama will probably win the west if MSU doesn't. that said, it was a good win. my only problem is that you need to shoot lights out to beat a team that shoots 50% from the floor. LSU did that last night but as we have seen this could be an abberation. this team is going nowhere until they start playing defense.

24th ranked WV (11-2) got beat last night by (3-10) Marshall last night.

Good win for the kids on the team, they really needed that. I

South Carolina took Kansas, Kentucky and Pittsburgh down to the wire, all very good teams. I agree the defense last night was not good and LSU will not shoot like that every night. A good win anyway.
