    ISLSTL -
I just wanted to say thanks for all your efforts during this past week. It is nice having one source to come to as opposed to searching google for answers.

Hey, I recently read where at least one poll (Sagarin, I think) takes the location of the game into consideration. Winning on the road counts more than winning at home, for example.

LSU is officially the home team this week, but we all know that Georgia will be the de facto home team, given the physical location.

So does anyone know if the Sagarin poll (and any others) intelligently take reality into account, or will they count an LSU win as a home win?

That's a good question. I have no idea. I think it would count as a neutral site game at worst.

Miami of Ohio won ... as expected of a 7 point favorite.
Assuming a 10 point favorite, 11-1 #18 ranked Boise State beats Hawaii, as it should, LSU's chances can be better determined earlier, i.e.,

does NOTRE DAME HAVE TO LOSE NOW?

Boise St & Hawaii are both being Top 10 Offensive Teams ... but Boise St with a Top 10 Scoring Dee gets the big edge over whatever they put in the Luau pork over there. BS went 11-1 ... only losing by 2 points to Pac-10 Oregon State
    Total Offense
    4. Boise St.--12 923 5938 6.43 67 494.83
    7. Hawaii-----12 906 5785 6.39 52 482.08
    Scoring Defense
    4. Boise St.--12 20 18 1 12 2 180 15.0
    74. Hawaii---12 40 36 1 18 1 334 27.8

Mr. Tellshow's projections with Miami (Oh) & Boise State wins
    Winners--------------USC-----LSU---How LSU jumps USC

    M.OH, ND, BSU 1.32 1.28 LSU needs all 7 computer #2 rankings

Because of the Colley Matrix ... the Miami (OH), ND, BS winning scenario voids itself out ... LSU cannot get #2 Colley with a ND win

Thus, GAME ---> SET ---> MATCH ---> SYRACUSE MUST WIN NOW

M.OH,Syr, BSU 1.44 1.24 LSU would be #2 with 6 #2 computer rankings and no QW points

and the SOS (unless this guy changes this again)

    --------------------------USC----LSU
Syr and BSU win 1.44 1.28 (LSU jumps USC and Oregon)

One more time ... with LSU still at #3 AP & ND wins ... Colley = X
and assumes LSU gets to #2 Wolfe ... best scenario Comp polls with LSU winning 6/7 and .1 QW points from a #10 GA.

    TEAM----AP/USA/AV-A-B-C-M-N-S-W-AVG--SOS-L-QW-TOT
    2. USC---2----2---2--3-3-2--3-3-3-3-2.83--1.32-1--0---7.15
    3. LSU----3----3---3--2-2-X--2-2-2-2-2.00--1.28-1-0.1--7.18

I just had to see the math add up ... ND wins ... NO SUGAR BOWL

Notre Dame will not lose to the Orangemen. Willingham's will will not allow that.

Also, ND has additional motivation that has gotten no national press>>>>>If Notre Dame loses then Michigan passes them for all-time winning %. Michigan already has the most wins in CF and the % thing is of great pride to ND. It's all they have left from their days of glory.

The only way LSU goes to the Sugar is if we beat Georgia AND the AP/ESPN polls move us to 2.

    But we already knew that.
