i want the troops brought home safely and am in general, against the operations in iraq, but you're crossing the line with the name calling.

    Agree.

Destrehan, the name calling was edited out in your second post in this thread, let's try to debate without the name calling. :thumb:

Also, it's been requested that this be taken to FSA so please do so this thread doesn't have to be closed.....it started out in an entirely different direction.

Back to LSU vs. Virginia Tech. :)

USC actually has a bye the week you play VaTech so no, masses will not be watching USC play.

I love good defensive football and yet it doesn't always translate well on TV, particularly the national stage (BTW, that's a compliment for those who don't recognize it). California and SoCal in particular have a big population so it shouldn't be any surprise that SC gets air time. Lastly, when we were at the bottom of the Pac10 and we sucked, NOBODY was watching us cause we weren't on. Winning and winning in a big TV market can make all the difference. If people watch cause they hate SC or cause they want SC to lose then so be it. It's not a popularity contest any of us are trying to win.

Man, that's just stupid. Is there a Hokie boogie man under your bed? You must still be in high school. What's your beef with the Hokies?

    Psst......football is just a game.....really, I'm serious.......HELLOOOO. :(

32 murders, 32 families' lives changed......that's a terrible tragedy. Seems like, out of respect for human life, it would at least make people with any ill feelings repress them at a time like this, or at least be more tactful in expressing them.

Really more than 32 when you realize that one of the researchers killed was one of the nation's leading researchers in finding a cure for cerebral palsy. :bncry:
