If Coach Miles finishes at 9-3 the LSU powers that be are not going to terminate Miles's contract based on that. He will have a sizable fan contingent on his side. If he wins the last game of the season and the bowl game, Coach Miles will be finishing his time at LSU on his own terms. I have no idea how this college football coach grading works at all. I made a career as a military officer. If I had ONE BAD DAY at the office, I knew I would not be allowed to continue in that line of work for long. So, I totally do not understand a profession where somebody can be quite unimpressive for year after year, but yet make millions and continue in his office. The decision was made to retain Coach Miles. I say live with that decision until his contract expires. If you cannot have Excellence, at least shoot for Honor.

Normally I would agree, but a softer schedule coming up and maybe some pressure on Miles to perform, he might put Etling in to see if it may make a difference. Until the Cameron extension, I was hoping the Alleva was putting the group on notice. Wishful thinking.
