Mahtook hit 4 dingers on the series. Someone forgot to tell him that he was using a different bat.

Very nice to start the season with a sweep. Looking forward to catching some games on CST.

All the wooden bat leagues our guys play in make a huge difference. Mahtook said he didn't care what you put in his hands. He was going to hit the ball and hit it hard. Considering he hit 14 last year with the "ping," anyone want to revise their over/under on Mahtook bombs this season?

Nola and Katz each with 3 2Bs.
    Hanover, 6-9, 2 2Bs.
    Mahtook, 4-9, 4 BOMBS. Slugging is....1.778. Riggodamndiculous.
Ware is 2-2 in relief duty.

These bats ain't nothing for these Tiger hitters.

I was paying attention to the lack talk about baseball. I had a swamped weekend and caught some of the games on the radio. I hope that baseball talk picks up around here. Maybe everyone was as busy as I was.

Great first weekend! Pitching seemed a lot better so far. Mahtook is beast mode. Just don't really know how good this WF team is either. Here's to having a lot more sweeps this year!

I don't know how good WF was supposed to be this year, but LSU looks every bit the part of a CWS team! Being from Myrtle Beach and the home of the CCU Chanticleers, I'd love to see these two schools square off. There's a lot of talk up here about Omaha or bust.
