Great move. Glad to see it. If our AD won't put us in big games Im glad ESPN will.

No kidding. Why is it when our athletic department try's to schedule home and homes no quality opponents are available or willing to accept, but as soon as ESPN is involved, magically teams become available?

:thumb:I'm glad we can get some quality opponents, even if it means we have to travel some years. I don't mind making a trip to Morgantown. I get tired of the North Texas and Middle Tenn. of this world.

Guaranteed TV appearances are pretty attractive for most schools. ESPN was responsible for scheduling Appy State for us this year, so you have to be mad at them for that.

How would feel if this was a Thursday night game in Tiger Stadium to kick off the season?

According to Ausberry, no deal is signed or agreed to yet. They are getting close though.

exactly! this is a great thing for us. i wish we would get Florida State, Texas A&M, or Nebraska in a home and home as well.

    Agreed.

Then you add on a decent team like Troy. Then you have one like Tulane and then another mid major team or lower tier BCS (e.g., Washington, Syracuse, Indiana).
