LSU will need an early knockout at BD stadium

Why the venom? All he did was respond to a post with game facts.

 

The fact is, he's only here to stir up ****. Another fact is this is an LSU forum that you freeload off of, so why don't you and your blowbuddy Bama fan go to Tidefans and hang out.

No big deal...you don't like Bama and enjoy jumping in on anti-Bama threads. It's an LSU forum, after all.

Let's see, Bama is playing for the SEC West. LSU is playing for the SEC West, against their old coach who bailed on them and a National Championship. Having 2 weeks rest I like our chances on the road. It should be a classic game. Our team is motivated not to mention the coaching staff. :geauxtige

 

I've thought about this game for awhile now. I see fan bases talking about it, but from Bama's players perspective they are looking at it as the next game on the schedule. It won't be about Miles. I base a lot of that feeling on what the players have said and the way this past week of practice was handled. In the past some of the Alabama coaches have made a big deal of it being UT...orange drinks, orange jersey's, Rocky Top, etc. Not a bit of that last week.

I can see you guys being fired up for this game because of Saban. I can see Miles having this game on his mind (slightly) because of Saban, but I don't think he's the type of coach to put emphasis on that fact very much, if at all, in practices. His focus will be on it being the next step to the SECCG. That's how it should be. As to LSU players, I can't see them holding a vendetta against Saban going into this game either. If they do, I'd hope your staff will work against that.

Bottom line, I see it more about some of LSU fans upset with Saban...the feelings expressed have ignited some of the fan base at Bama so they may be fired up for this game as well. I doubt, it'll be largely based on Saban vs Miles. It shouldn't be.

The sad thing is...the media will do their best to add fuel to the fire with the whole story.

The way I see it...it's about the next step. That step being the SECW. I've said all along I've thought the West was LSU's to lose. I've added I didn't think we'd pull this out although I don't expect it to be a blow-out. The offensive productions we've seen glimpses of all year and finally saw 60 minutes of this past Saturday does make it that much more interesting.

The fans are upset with Saban but not for the reasons commonly listed by bammers. The fans are pissed at the way LSUMiles were treated with disrespect, and especially mad about the arrogance of the average bama fan(apparently a few of you are not Terry) in regards to your savior. It's also laughable how the tables have been turned around on teams like Auburn and ourselves by calling us the "obsessed fans", when we have beaten you guys 4 straight, and Auburn 5 straight. It's usually the other way around, and I expect it to remain that way, as I assure you, the streak won't be broken by us.
