Is AP still having a final poll after the bowl games? If so, assuming LSU loses to Arkansas they could still end up as #1 in the AP poll if they win their bowl game impressively.

Ie Alabama beats Arkansas in the title game, and LSU stomps whoever.

 

This is true, but it is just the AP trophy, not a national championship.

 

Yes, the AP poll is still in affect, though many consider it secondary to the coach's poll since the coach's poll is part of the BCS. In my opinion, they are both still valid, and the AP is not obligated to crown the BCS champion #1.
