I agree, but we still have to win the game. We'd take a pretty big hit in the rpi if we lose to Ole Miss. A 1 point win with subs would work for me. We are now looking at a possible 2 seed if we can run the table in the SEC tourney.
I agree. Rest up, heal up, and let others get a bunch of playing time. I, however, would hate to lose the game because of it. The bigger picture is WAY too important to care about the ole miss game. I hope D. Mitchell gets a win on senior day. I also hope the P-Mac is full and rockin'
I was wondering ifthe SEC Championship Banner for the Men's be dropped before or after the game? Or would that be considered cruel & unusual punishment to celebrate the SEC championship in front of the Ole Miss fans?
Yeah BABY! Seriously, this is great for us and SEC basketball. LSU wins the SEC title OUTRIGHT ... first in 21 years, and this means our men's and women's basketball teams winning the SEC Championship in the same year make us the first SEC school to do that. Brady should win COY. Davis will probably win POY. DMitch will be All-SEC. Kentucky is off the bubble and thus, the SEC probably has SIX teams in the dance. And, since the pressure's off, we can relax a little... Over the final 6 games,... 5-0 and SEC OUTRIGHT CHAMPIONS?!! West Coast? Gofer? Bueller? The team really came a long way after a rocky start! We should be thoroughly proud of this young team and embattled coach. SEC CHAMPS!!
