Deangelo Benton could develop into a nice WR but he even admits he is out of football shape right now. He said he did not do much working out during that 2 year hiatus.

He would not be a guy we could expect to jump right in from the get go like Randle.

I didn't mean I thought he'd have been a starter. I think he would have added depth. Going in for a play or two here and there. I never played football, but I bet he would have been in better shape by Sept. and would have been ready to sub .... like Moulton. We'll be OK at WR this year.

I do think Ruben Randle will be a great asset from the get go. He would have beaten Benton out anyway after Benton's layoff.

I am looking for Chris Toliver to step up and he has shown some signs that he can over the offseason.

This is Randle's ticket in early, I think. He was always going to get in, but now there's a legitimate early opening for him.

I think C. Mitch and T.Tolliver have big years as well.

Remember the long bombs against Ga Tech. JJ is gonna let some fly this year for LaFell, Tolliver and Mitchell to go get. I can feel it!

I wish Molton the best and a speedy recovery. I was looking forward to the Destrehan connection. But he'll get his chance next year!

Toliver will blossom and have his breakout season.

Randle will make a significant impact as a true freshman.

I hope Molton well and a speedy recovery, but this will not effect our wide receiver production this season.

    Rueben will be ready.

I'm confident we're gonna enjoy this guy for the next 3-4 years...

Sucks for Molton though, but it's a good thing technology is so far advanced nowadays. Guys bounce back from ACLs with regularity now. Fifteen years ago his playing career would be over. Now the biggest challenge is mental and not physical. He'll have to learn to trust that knee again, which is usually much easier for football guys as opposed to basketball guys.

Molton will have surgery within the next 2 weeks.
