    Everything changes now should W. Virginia lose:

    We would then want Florida to lose and Notre Dame to beat USC.

    This leaves:

    1. Ohio State
    2. Michigan
    3. Notre Dame
    4. LSU
    5. USC

    LSU gets an automatic bid and plays USC in the Rose Bowl.

    either, it would allow LSU to get to #4 in the BCS.

    But Michigan must finish at #2, which means USC has to lose a game. So USC doesn't necessarily have to lose to ND, they can lose to UCLA instead. But obviously their best chance might be tonight to get that loss.
