The only site I've went to is the insiders site, a mixed bag there.

Been on their rivals.com site. A pretty good assortment of posts and it's active. Not a subscriber though so can't participate.

Is that all???????????? Seems like a slam dunk now with the majority of the press projecting LSU-Michigan. Maybe a 85:hihi: +

I was going to go with 70 initially, then I starting thinking about that phucking Knute Rockne and them god-for-saken four horseman.

I woke up this morning in a pool of sweat and hallucinated that I had 4 horse heads in my bed. Damn you Irish!

And you still have Kirk Herbstreit who is on a mission to make sure that the Irish get that rematch. And I am serious about that. Somebody needs to take this dude out.

I am projecting LSU as a 2:1 favorite, roughly, over Notre Dame. Those are not bad odds. As the weekend nears and more positive stories come out and the anti-Irish campaign hopefully becomes too much to overcome, I will adjust the numbers further.

I think it's important as LSU fans and Alumni alike to do whatever we can to make it known that the LSU matchup is far better to that of Notre Dame. It surely doesn't hurt that Michigan fans and websites are petitioning the Rose Bowl to take LSU over Notre Dame. I think that ultimately will sway the Rose Bowl officials our way, if they aren't there already.

Islstl, I was just fooling around with those figures. Nothing wrong being conservative/careful with projections; you surely don't want to overdo it. I am amazed that you have been working so hard at this; many kudos. I find the article posted by bhelmlsu quite revealing and uplifting. I am now feeling good about LSU's chances, and I believe, as are a lot of us.

Turning things around,I wonder how the Irish feels about themselves as to whether they deserve the Rose Bowl; and if they ever (god forbid) got in, they know they will be hearing a lot of discussions about them getting in by the grace of their name and tradition, and not having earned it.

BTW, sorry about those nightmarish horseheads.

    Here is an interesing factoid:

the loser of the SEC title game has never earned a BCS invite

    that bodes well for LSU
