I very much want them to somehow look good as a Sugar Bowl opponent, but their schedule reeks like sweaty socks.

At least at 10-1 with the loss to Va Tech, they'll sound like a legit opponent.

    Geaux Mountaineers!!

I thought last year was supposed to be their year, the one in which they go 11-0.

    Go figure.

Rodriguez is where he wanted to be. He was Texas Tech's first choice before they hired Leach. The deal was all but done, then he decided to wait for Don Nehlen's retirement. He might look elsewhere now that the conference is diminished, but this was going home to his dream job. He is a WV grad.

Gotta like WVU quarterback Pat White, former LSU commit.

    not so fast.

the big east champ will likely be the winner of UWV v. USF. its not a done deal.

i d ALMOST prefer LSU lose the SECCG and play a good name opponent (Michigan, FL St) than win and play a big east team in a no win bowl.

Yes. but i did write "ALMOST". you do realize that i have absolutely no influence on the outcome of any LSU game, dont you?

i really hate LSU putting a great team on the field (hopefully they are there by then) only to play a team with little national reputation. puts LSU in a no win situation. of course the bcs money is nice.

Should they win out (most likely will) and then beat WV in their postponed game... USF will be in the Sugar... now THERE is a disgrace....

Without a doubt USF will win the big least! They have a great little rb andre hall who will give and some tall athletic receivers that will give wva problems. LSU ON THE OTHER HAND WILL CRUSH THEM! GEAUX TIGERS!!!
