    Yep, and excluding a coach who won 5 national titles in 10 years would be a pretty bad idea as well.

    Wally? Man, I loved the guy, but he's not near being in the top 4 in LSU sports history.

    if shaq and maravich were baseball players theyd be ernie banks. think theyre gonna put him next to ruth and jordan? they might as well also put jim kelly and archie manning.

    so Shaq winning a few championships doesn't differ from Banks? I beg to differ.

    jim kelly WENT to four super bowls. john elway was in the same class before the broncos lucked out on terrell davis. both would be in the HOF regardless of SB victories.

    of course we're talking about LSU here.

    I didn't put Dale up there but he is the winningest basketball coach in LSU history and behind only the legendary Adolph Rupp in the SEC. He produced 2 Final Four teams and 3 consensus All-Americans. Dale put LSU basketball on the map.

    If you put up the football and baseball coach with the most wins, then you put up Dale Brown.

    And the word is you're.

    The only coach I would put up there would be Skip Bertman, and that's because he won 5 championships in a 10 year span.
