Um, no. Last year he was not as good as expected either, still dropped balls & just hasn't improved as we'd hoped.

The problems of the o-line arent the players.. its the playcalling... 5 guys cannot block 8 or 9 and that is how many have been in the box this year due to the very predictable playcalling. 2 tightends in on first or second, its a run 95% of the time.. Jacob Hester is in the game, its a pass or run with him 95% of the time... there are alot of other tells that defenses have been keying on... the two TE, 1 WR I-form may work in the big12 but not in the SEC.. they are one step form the wishbone right there... Spread the field and the running game will be much better (its no coincidence that we usually pick up 5-10 yards on running plays from the shotgun).

On the D-line, if RJF keeps getting bigger, I say move him inside... then its Pittman, Dorsey, RJF, and fill-in the blank; Maybe Manley or Holmes if we land one.. Jucos usually can step in right away... then there is Jones, K. Pittman, Jackson, Willis... we will be solid up front.. its hard not to get an upgrade at LB beside Highsmith... DB is solid without landry, great with.. Zenon is going to be all-SEC next year...
