If UT goes 12-0, I say give it to them. They have to play Oklahoma, go to Ohio State, play Texas Tech, go to A&M, the Big 12 championship game (hypothetically) and on top of all that, find a way to win ballgames with a QB that can't hit a wide open TE 5 yards in front of his face. I see sure losses to Oklahoma (statistically they are due, but i'm just not seeing it), Ohio State and one of TT or A&M. I see Dallas and another Cotton Bowl in their immediate future. The writer brings up an interesting conversation but I don't see LSU fans expecting an undefeated or one loss season equates with an easy SEC schedule. Just because Auburn went undefeated last year, doesn't mean everyone else sucks?
I was only mocking a lot of your recent posts. As for posting complete articles, I gave up on preventing it... I suppose if Brett doens't care then i don't either heh...
VICTORY! If the article is good enough, posting it in its entirety should be permitted. This article is good, real good - breaking up this guy's brilliant train of thought with the click and scroll routine would be journalistic murder.
Excellent article. LSU will have accomplished more than USC if both teams end the season undefeated (I believe this is what he was saying).
Wow, what a great take...with one caveat: SEC powers have indeed won and won big the past few seasons. To wit, 2002 saw a one-loss Georgia team, followed by a one-loss LSU team, followed by an undefeated Auburn team. My point? Yes, the SEC still rocks, but the past three SEC champions have gotten it done to the point that they could and should have competed for all the marbles in all three years (yeah, Georgia was better than Ohio State, or at least as good...but that difference in the "L" column separated them in the rankings).
