i have been a part of worse threads than this. just a few, and it has taken years and thousands of post, but it can be done.
really looking 3 weeks ahead to get to the beginning of football season...... but unfortunately that means the summer ends and back to school and studio.:dis:
Funny...I was just thinking the other day how I wish I were going back to school! I heard some kids complaining about it and thought to myself..."Self, they have no idea what they're talking about".:thumb:
No don't get me wrong. I love being in college. been through 2 years and have 4 years left. not trying to graduate. *being in college while not in school. living like a rockstar!
It is interesting when folk tie their allegiance to individuals rather than the institution. The aggrieved party in this scenario is LSU, and the damage done to her was caused by the initial act, not the reporting of the wrong. Discussion of motivation is superfluous at best and driven by other agendas. That it would even be proffered into argument indicates a singular attempt to divert attention from what should be the primary focus. LSU will soldier on, those that discredit her will become the unread footnotes of history. Energies should be reserved for those seeking to bring glory to your school, not expended on those who selfishly brought scandal to her.
Do you people now see the kind of harm that comes from women's basketball???? It's not too late for you to jump on the "NLMD Stop Wasting Money on Horrible 'Sports' Programs" bandwagon. :hihi:
Well, if you dont know how to send a pm, you should've started a thread and ASKED, not just throw it out there. And what does tiga's girls have to do anything with this??? It's respectful to keep the discussion between YOU and HIM...and btw, before you start attacking tiga, you should at least KNOW him FIRST, he's one of the best posters over here.
Awesome post and I completely agree. It's a shame that it had to go down the way it did, and whatever repercussions the University suffers are traced back to the situation as a whole. You can't pick and choose who to blame in this situation as it imitates life. There is not always a clear cut hero to laud and villain to jeer. The only truth in all of this is that LSU and her student athletes are the victims. Any righteous indignation should be reserved for the act that brought about the end of what was a promising tenure under our previous coach. Everything else is just blindly throwing darts at a dartboard from across the room in a crowded bar. You may hit the target. Then again you're just as likely to strike an innocent bystander. Oh great Hurricane...now you have gone and done it...he'll never get his head through the door now!!! Just pickin Tiga!!!
