According to LD and Chris Sherman, LD isn't married, one brother graduated and another is on schedule to graduate in August. He is engaged to a girl who is in the Army who is in or about to go to Iraq (the article wasn't clear).
wow, what a forum! I love it! In an age where LSU and Tennessee slug it out in SEC Championships, we get to play "holier than thou" and watch Fulmer let em go for anything short of a homicide. I'm not knocking the "nutcracker discipline" of Les Miles, but LSU's players are choir boys compared to the animals of some of these programs. Obviously, it pays off for LSU and fans. If a kid like Luther Davis wants to go to Alabama and play for Sabin, let him. That decision tells me a lot about that kid anyway. We're gonna boo him when he's announced, and Louisiana players are going to be extra motivated to kick his can on the field. If he fails at Alabama, I'm happy about it, and I'm happy because I want Sabin to get "nothing" from Louisiana during recruiting, and I'm especially happy since these delusional Alabama fans were shoving it in our faces like they were this past year. All I've heard from the Red Elephants is "We're coming" and "Next Year". Another thing, Alabama's recruiting was vastly overrated this past year. Thirty-three recruits! Who are they kidding? I believe Sabin's blueprint for success that he used at LSU won't necessarily work at Alabama and I believe that his lack of integrity and lack of moral fiber will show itself on the field. All we heard last year was his cry about "4th Quarter" and how tough they were gonna be late in games. They got wiped in the last half of the season. But I do know this! These Alabama live-in-the-past Bear Bryant era daydreamers will fund their school to the tune of $60M per year to try to buy themselves a return to Glory. And that needs to be taken seriously. There's no reason to fear Alabama when they are spending this kind of green. Reason: Tennessee and Ole Phil are gonna be waiting for them to slip up again so they can call the NCAA Do you know what I "MEANS" , Vern? Alabama won't have the offensive guns and WRs to take LSU or even Auburn this year. They'll have to beat LSU with Defense. And if they lose a Luther Davis from LA, I'm happy about it. Let Luther go play at ULaLa or somewhere else.
this is without a doubt the worst post i have ever read on this forum. you want a kid to fail because he didnt go to your school? good lord, grow up. i went to lsu and i am not from louisiana, like many here...i guess i should be hated back home? :dis:
haha, please, could you go further on that great point. i cant wait on this original thought. do...go on. ps. maybe i was recruited by sabin (your spelling, which is an insult i guess)! or maybe i wasnt. or maybe im confused by the necrotizing fasciitis im going through. enjoy that breakfast.
He's saying it's his intention to return as of yesterday...we'll see. We definitely need the depth on the line.
Lukky Lou don't worry about these Bama lovers I feel ya! :911: LSU! It's spelled Satan though not Sabin. :thumb:
