If that is true, it's no surprise no one knew about it. If there is one thing that everyone on the different sides of the Miles debate can agree on, it's that he doesn't let any information out.

The radio said that Miles had stated that Jimbo had a free hand in the offense and I liked it too. The defense had a bad day for sure.

But still . . . if the special teams had not blown it, LSU would have been in a position to win. Florida didn't exactly march up and down the field on us. We simply gave them a touchdown and a safety that they didn't really earn.

it was said on the radio before the game by everyone's favorite talking head (jordy hultberg, god i hate him) that miles was handing the keys to jimbo for this game.

As usual, you pragmatically summarize the game -- and accurately.

Haven't read the other threads, don't plan to, and don't plan to post about it. No sense getting more frustrated by hanging out in the Den until this dies down.

I'm still pretty sure the sky isn't falling, and that Florida is a deceptively good team. Special teams decided the game, with a couple of highly suspect penalties.

    Miles/Russell/Pelini's D -- this ain't the Hallman/Dinardo years.

    Toodles.

there's just so much to be pissed about who knows? If he is keeping the bench warm with talent then shame on him. I just can't imagine a big time college coach doing that in this day and age. SURELY, he would play his best backs? right? RIGHT? I just cant accept that isn't the case. has to be, no way we hired a guy that bullheaded. I mean wouldn't word get out? Looks like it would.

Florida has an innovative, hard to defend, quick hitting, spread out the defense, offense. I though our defense was schemed well. This definitely wasn't our best defensive performance, but I think Florida's O deserves alot of credit.

Florida was effective, especially early against LSU's defense b/c they would hit LSU with quick 5 yard routes when LSU was playing that soft ass defense. They had freaking DB's 5 yards off the line. Of course they will burn you will little passes.

during the press conference he today he said he was nicked a little bit but intimated he wasnt really hurt by saying he felt hester, alley and jv gave us the best chance to win. :po: :po:

then someone asked if keiland was hurt. he said someone mentioned it to him friday but he wasnt sure.

so in other words, its the upper classmen phenomenon as I expected.

this press conference was pretty depressing. our coach doesn't seem to have a lot of good answers.
