SWEET revenge on those mofos that STOLE our Cotton Bowl in '69...

...when we were 3 points short against the elder Manning from a perfect 10-0...

...by removing their "bowl ban"of 44 years....

I LOVE their NEW self-imposed bowl ban program EVEN BETTER!

I'm loving this too. They always thought they were a notch above the rest of college football, e.g. independent, their own TV contract, etc. Now ND realizes they are just another chump and they need to compete for recruits like everyone else. They are finally coming off that smug "Notre Dame sells itself" BS. Just remember, the high school seniors being recruited now were 8 years old the last time the Irish won a bowl game. To these guys, ND is just another Boston College, Rutgers, etc..

That's the BEST part of the whole deal....

And for Ty Willingham to leave a Stanfurd program that he was doing pretty well at to go to ND, well, I gots nothing against Ty but I just wonder who looks worse here, the hirer, or the hiree...

...something tells me it'll be the hirer...

...and that's OK by me... :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :D

    NBC NOW stands for:
    No
    Bowl
    Contest
