In College I would have to say that Football, Mens Basketball, Womens Basketball, Baseball, Womens Softball, Mens and Womens Track have got to be the sports that every College fields a team and LSU has won 3 of 7 National Championships with the possiblity of 5 of 7.

What about Croquet? Badminton? Water Polo?

    Just kidding.

Yeah I would have to agree with you except you would have to add Tennis. I think just as many schools have Tennis teams as they do Women's softball or Track teams.

I'd throw womens volleyball on that list too.

Then you have to throw men's and women's soccer in too, don't you? And ice hockey.

I would figure the "ball" sports are all more important than track-and-field.
