Another SEC high scoring game. LSU 41 Dawgs 35 I dont know what it is about Day games, especially on CBS, but it seems our Cardiac Cats alway have trouble with this combination. :geaux:
I predicted LSU to go 9-3 this year, losing to Ga. or Ole Miss, plus Fla. and Bama. LSU has disappointed on offense running game, and JJ looks like an inexperienced soph that he is. Ga. has not looked all that great either. I am picking this one for LSU on the road, LSU 22 - Ga. 21, by the narrowist of victories. A loss would not surprise me at all. I hope our more upbeat audacious fans turn out to be correct!!! :geaux:
Georgia's D has new confidence after holding Arizona St. to 17 points. They stuff the LSU run and dial up exotic blitzes against Jefferson, forcing him into mistakes. AJ Green covered by anybody other than #7 equals a big play. The inability of LSU's D to sustain a heavy pass rush does the Tigers in. UGA wins time of possession handily. Chuck the Truck and Keiland end their friendships with Gary Crowton and the entire offensive line. Chad Jones has a good game: 14 tackles, a pick, a fumble recovery, a few nice runs in the Wildcat. He also tells Les to hand over the head phones when the Tigers are on offense. Still, it's not enough. UGA 34 LSU 19 :tigerhead
