And on and on it goes. For the 2010 season, of the 8 SEC teams we play, 6 SEC teams have decided they need two weeks to prepare for the Tide. South Carolina, Ole Miss, The viles, LSU, (now why would you need two weeks for your Bama game), Miss St. and last and certainly least the barn. Some of these schools would rather have two weeks to prepare for Bama than their own traditional rivals, unbelievable!!
did you have a problem with Bama having a bye the week before playing LSU this year? P.S. the semi-invitation to the tailgate still stands
Not really, it makes sense LSU would want to zero in on us as opposed to Florida. The rest is just stupid. I'm still trying to figure out why you don't have the authority to invite me to the big tailgate. Man, who do you have to check with?
it's not my tailgate. i'm a guest. yes i'm there for every home game i attend, and the people who go to the games with me also attend. however, it would be rather impolite of me to invite some one unassociated with me to someone else's party.
Just explain my modest goal to them. Your tailgating friends are struggling with the color barrier in these modern times, wow. Let them know I have slides of all 20 of our NC teams, so this thing could get wild and crazy. Remember, were only strangers until we say hello. And I'll bring the beer, I insist.
rivals fans have attended before, so i don't think that would be a problem i'm confident that you would be welcomed. it is just not my place to do the inviting. and really, as our guest, i insist on providing you with at least one beer. really, just ignore the fact that it is in a bottle with no label, and a twist cap that doesn't quite match up to the bottle.
