Here are my keys to breaking down the bama defense.

I would run influence type plays that become misdirection and set them up.

Bama defense is very dependent on flow to the ball. Pound Hilliard a couple of times and run play action with JJ rolling out and give him the option to run.

JJ is just not a great pocket passer and never will be. give him the option to run and pass.

I see this as a higher scoring game than most people do. I think both teams in the 20's at least. More wide open.

Spread em out and run some qb draws.

Also go to the end zone when you get to the 35 or 40.

LSU offense needs to get going and make sure our defense gets more rest that they did in the first game.

Bottom line is what every game comes down to is make big plays, finish drives, no turnovers, very few penalties, good special teams and just by god score more than the gumps and i dont really care how we do it.

LSU needs to stick with what they do well and not try to do things they aren't known for and shoot themselves in the foot in the process. This is a game of field position and the team that make the mistakes lose 9 out of 10 times. We better not get cute and try to be a different team. We shouldn't be too conservative but we also shouldn't play like we're desperate unless we absolutely have to.

Bama is the one who is under pressure to beat LSU. They'll be more likely to come out and be desperate. Let them make the mistakes and we reap the rewards.

Studs calls the plays, Krags looks for sets, weakness, overshifting, etc. when the Tigers are in certain formations. Chess match.

This, Les will do what he did last game. Let nick blink and catch him dreaming. Les will play his game and have nick follow. Just like last game..
