    @ClayTravisBGID: Good move, Texas.

    RT @PaulPabst: "Texas recruited me more as a defensive back." Johnny Manziel.

    Reminded me of the NOT so good ole days of LSU recruiting/coaching

    We recruited shepard as a qb. At least that's what we told him.

    Someone told me Manziel wanted to go to LSU (or at least seriously consider us) but we didn't have a scholly to offer (at least as a QB).

    Only 2 schools in Texas offered him. Not Texas or tcu. Oregon the only big school I think besides a&m.

    Probably because of 1) his small size and 2) his small high school. There's a serious small school bias in Texas. My dad laughs at the big Texas high schools, though. He's gone to some Plano Senior High games and feels like they should win a heck of a lot more than they do when they have over 2000 boys to choose from for their team each year.

    Obviously. Just think of what would have happened to Russell Shepard if we hadn't given him his fair shake at qb.

    If he would have come here then we would have this problem.....Seriously I think this hair cut of Johnny Football looks more like him than the real Johnny Football...

    There is a lot more to the Faulk story. You do know who recruited Faulk out of high school?

    I saw that and was thinking of getting it as a face tattoo.
